Mission Loans is seeking experienced mortgage professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment without losing focus on quality of work and delivering an exceptional customer experience. As a Product Development Manager, your primary mission is to manage and develop product lending guidelines and research potential product offerings that meet the needs of both the company and its customers.

As a Product Development Manager, your primary mission is to manage and develop product lending guidelines and research potential product offerings that meet the needs of both the company and its customers.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and develop product lending guidelines and matrices
- Research potential product offerings
- Organize and run product development meetings
- Provide product assessments and comparisons
- Coordinate and manage new product rollout
- Maintain investor guidelines and coordinate announcements of changes to the floor
- Provide product support for Underwriting and Secondary departments

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience in mortgage lending product development
- Must have deep understanding of the mortgage industry, including market trends and regulatory requirements
- Thorough understanding of agency & investor underwriting guidelines, policies and procedures
- Proven ability to manage project timelines
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
